Larkspur Bowl VIII has been a slugfest so far, with Phoenix leading 142.13 to 115.62- but Hill Valley has the ball. LeSean McCoy has been the MVP so far, scoring an official 26.5; Phoenix is lead by linebacker Kwon Alexander, who scored 16. They'll likely need someone else to be the hero if they plan to come out the victors.
Left to play for Phoenix: Linebacker Ryan Shazier (subbing for concussed Vontaze Burfict) and Wide Receiver Dez Bryant. Given a 26.51 point lead, they'll need to outscore Hill Valley receivers Antonio Brown and Golden Tate, along with McFly defenders Zach Orr, Barry Church, Steve Nelson, and Brandon Carr to claim their fourth Larkspur Bowl Championship.
The McFlys have the means to finally seize the crown, after spending the better part of a decade coming close. With attrition on their side, all five players scoring double digits would likely get the job done. Nothing is certain, but projections are on their side. Hold onto your butts.
