The Larkspur Bowl: League Information

The Larkspur Bowl is a Fantasy Football League with roots dating back to 2007, although the Larkspur Bowl (LB) was formally established in 2009, when the LBI was played.

Each team's twenty-three man active rosters consist of eight offensive players (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, TE/WR) eight defensive players (DL, LB, LB, LB, CB, CB, S, S) and a kicker (K) as well as six bench slots, plus an additional injured reserve slot. Players that are dropped from the active roster are exposed to a waiver process before reaching free agency.

The League is made up of fourteen teams, with each opponent seeing each other once over a grueling thirteen week season. The top six teams make the LB Playoffs, with the top two seeds securing first round byes. Finally, in the sixteenth week, the final two teams face off in the Larkspur Bowl. The victor is crowned champion, their name inscribed on the league's silver chalice forevermore:

Of the eight teams that do not make the playoffs, the top six compete in the Consolation Bowl, which determines the top of the draft order for the following season. This mandates that all team continue trying to build the best team possible, throughout the year, to have a better position in the next year's draft. Upon the season's completion, final standings are declared and teams are slotted into their draft position. The order goes:

7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 5, 6, 3, 4, 2, 1
