Trade Review: End Game Posturing

Trade Twenty-Eight: New York/Hill Valley

The Finest and the McFlys finally made a swap, after a season's worth of haggling: RB Chris Johnson heads to Hill Valley for RB Darren Sproles and CB Tim Jennings. The McFlys get a healthy rusher in Johnson, albeit one at an advanced age and a cemented pedigree as a home-run threat: Johnson scores via the big play. They move the last healthy-ish member of their offense in Sproles, who has seen reduced looks in recent weeks, but is tied to a far more prolific offense. Both backs figure to be third options when everyone is healthy, so the trade's winner will be the team that plugs them in on the right week. CB Tim Jennings was kicked in too, a CB with gamechanging potential: CB's point totals are built upon big weeks, pick sixes the most matchup altering single play in the game. Jennings has the potential to do it at any time: He has scored 16, 25.2, and 35.2 in three separate weeks this season; Figuring he might do it another two or three times, that could mean two of three wins for the Finest.
