Trade Review: Barren Hearth

Trade Twenty-Three: Bristol/Phoenix

Heath Miller had fallen to third on the depth chart in Phoenix, so when the team needed some help in their defensive backfield, they shopped him around, eventually dealing him to Bristol for S Mark Barron. With the Executioners, Miller becomes the de facto number one option, while Eric Weddles assumes full time duties as Bristol's safety. While this isn't a world shaking move, it is an example of two teams addressing their needs directly- Phoenix also keeps Miller away from playoff contenders, in a short TE market.

UPDATE: Mark Barron's physical showed lingering hip issues, causing the Uprising to drop him for S Major Wright.

Bristol receives TE Heath Miller

Phoenix receives S Major Wright in lieu of S Mark Barron
