Trade Review: Menage a Deux

Trade Fifteen: New York/Phoenix
A historic trade between Hill Valley, New York, and Phoenix stalled out just before the finish line, when New York upped their price. While negotiations took a step back, the clock was ticking on the Finest, who were trying to replace Eli Manning before Week 6 kicked off; Ultimately, they swung a deal with the Uprising, who sent incumbent starting QB Robert Griffin III to New York along with WRs Michael Floyd and Dwayne Bowe for WR1 AJ Green and Elisha. The trade is gamble for New York, as both Grffin and Bowe have been playing below expectations, but each has shown the talent to be a top 10 player at their position recently. Floyd has been improving in his sophomore campaign, steadily getting targets- if he can bring his progress to the red zone, he can be an every week starter in the LFL. AJ Green is the surest thing in this deal, and teaming up with WR Calvin Johnson in Phoenix should be nightmare for opposing defenses. Eli will sit behind QB Phil Rivers, waiting for another chance to start.
