Too Close to Call:
Toronto (162.97) vs California (139.55)
Yahoo! is giving the Swag a 62% chance of making up a 23.5 point spread, as Toronto has played all of their cards. California has both of its running backs in play tonight, Bilal Powell and Jason Snelling carrying the bulk of the defending champions hopes; LB David Harris is also expected to chip in a contribution, as the Swag attempt to remain relevant. If Toronto can hold on, they'll be 4-1, and sitting pretty on a four game win streak.
Levee (129.97) vs Atlanta (104.31)
Atlanta has four players going, and needs to make up a 25 point spread, as well as cover for Levee WR Jeremy Kerley's contributions. Yahoo! gives them a 72% chance of making up the difference, as it leans on QB Matt Ryan, WR Roddy White, TE Tony Gonzalez, and DE Osi Umenyiora. A win brings the Rage to 2-3, even keel with their opponent; If the G-Men can hold the lead, they'll rise to 3-2.
Orgrimmar (150.10) vs Bristol (135.38)
The undefeated Horde hold the lead and the edge, with an 82% percent chance of continuing their ravenous campaign victoriously. CB Robert McClain is the Executioner's last hope, needing to hang a 15 point day on Orgrimmar to keep Bristol on the right side of .500; McClain has scored double digits in three of four games, but will need his best game of the season to chisel a flaw in the last undefeated's season.
Oakwood (155.25) vs Teamville (125.68)
The Drivers' 84% chance of victory is likely to spike higher before kickoff, as Players' LB Akeem Dent is inactive tonight. Kicker Matt Bryant would need an all-time great night to overcome the 30 point deficit on his own. With the forthcoming win, Oakwood will break into the win column for the first time this season, after their week four match up got overturned upon official review.
New York (165.06) vs Phoenix (144.24)
The Finest have a solid twenty one point lead, and WR Julio Jones going head to head with WR Stephen Hill tonight- good for a 93% chance of victory. New York will rise to 2-3 with the victory, while Phoenix will fall to 3-2.
Pawnee (180.16) vs Chicago (139.00)
The PJers turned in a very good score in week five, and should be able to turn it into a two game winning streak, with a 93% chance of victory. Chicago will fall to 3-2 unless RB Jacquizz Rodgers and S William Moore can combine 41.17 points. It could happen, but probably not.
Already Decided:
Silver City (240.91) vs Hill Valley (158.96)
Barring a major stat adjustment, SCFC will set a new record for scoring in a matchup in their dismantling of the McFlys this week. Atlanta dropped a 235.99 point bomb on Toronto last year in week two, a record which lasted 386 days. Silver City rebounds from their loss last week, to get to 4-1; The McFlys fall to 2-3, their first time under .500 in over a year; The last time they had a losing record, they were going into week four, 2012; Hill Valley lost only four regular season games in 2012.
BEST PLAY: RB Pierre Thomas, New York's Finest (25.60)
After weeks of productive time on the bench, New York finally dressed Pierre the last two weeks, and they were rewarded with a huge game in week five. Thomas will probably return to his depth role next week, as Le'von Bell takes over the starting role, but it doesn't matter; He secured the W this week for the Finest.
WORST BENCH: WR Rueben Randle, Phoenix Uprising (24.80 pts)
Randle was not actually listed on the Uprising's roster this week, as they cut him before his big breakout. They then added WR Austin Pettis who they subsequently cut, who subsequently scored 18.9 for Bristol. Replacing Pettis (albeit briefly) was RB Donald Brown, who scored a solid 10 in week 5, but had already been replaced by RB Daryl Richardson, who scored only 4.8 on the Uprising bench, and then was cut Sunday evening. Overmanaged catastrophe.
