Finally, of note- we've kept track of the Madden Curse's effect on the Larkspur Bowl over the years, and this year is no different. Quarterback Tom Brady was this year's athlete... and he while he himself has a superb year, his Oakwood Drivers came crashing back to earth after a respectable 4-3 start and lost their final six games in the regular season as well as their first consolation bracket matchup with Hill Valley. They did finish on a good note, defeating the Philadelphia Rum Ham in the 11th place game... but that of course, leaves the curse fully intact for another year.
