XIII: Pawnee Pride

It all came crashing down hard in Pawnee, where wins were few and far between. The team's carousel at running back and instability at quarterback ultimately proved to be their undoing, as they faced the league's highest point total. Where in the past the Pride have been able to reach deep and pull off a blockbuster, this year's deals, though well executed, proved wholly inadequate: Deebo proved the prize instead of Saquon in their first deal- a coup, considering Michael Thomas was ultimately a black hole. With Chris Carson unreliable due to a litany of ailments (and with Saquon on the shelf) Devontae Booker was a worthwhile add, and the team's final deal was a rare IDP add- and it worked out too. Alas, none of this was enough, as the team's wideouts were constantly hurt (AJ Green, Kenny Golladay, Tyrell Williams, Henry Ruggs, and the aforementioned Thomas, plus the traded Kadarius Toney) all missed time. The losing obfuscates a pair of linebackers that stood out in the rookie Parson and the veteran Campbell, both top ten at their position.
