THE FIRST ROUND IS IN THE BOOKS AND WE HAVE OUR SEMIFINALISTS IN BOTH BRACKETS:
OHIO REMAINS EN FUEGO, ENDS THREAT OF TREASON
The Tommy Boys leaned on their playmakers obvious (George Kittle, Alvin Kamara) and less obvious (Hunter Renfrow, Van Jefferson) to keep their winning streak going. Mar-A-Lago's resurgent season ends with a very admirable effort, but the stars just did not align, as Russell Wilson and Leonard Fournette come up short.
- OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME: TE GEORGE KITTLE (OTB) 32.00
- DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME: CB RASUL DOUGLAS (MAL) 24.75
SOUTH PARK DOES ENOUGH TO SLIP PAST PHILLY
It didn't have the fireworks that the other side of the bracket supplied, but it does have a semifinalist- Tom Brady and the Cows advance by virtue of doing just enough. Either team would have lost to the Treason if the brackets had gone differently, but that's called fate. For South Philly, injuries to Terry McLaurin and DeAndre Hopkins were demoralizing in a winnable game.
- OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME: QB TOM BRADY (SPC) 32.62
- DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME: CB AJ TERRELL (PRH) 18.00
