Our thirteenth season ends with the Manitoba Moosecrew crowned champions over the Deputy Van Halens. It was the Moosecrew's third playoff appearance (in 2016 and 2020 they finished with Bronze medals) and they delivered after following a dominating 11-2 season. This was no upstart winner, the Crew were the best team in 2021 by every metric, and will hoist the Silver Chalice as soon as we fish it out of the Jersey Swamps.
The final might have been a big what-if for the Crew, who left big scoring running backs on the bench- BUT. They won anyway! Ja'Marr Chase and Cooper Kupp made their regular contributions for the champs while Najee Harris and Ronald Jones did just fine. Game balls to the defense, who came up big in this one with linebacker TJ Edwards leading the swarm. Deputy got a incredible performance from QB Dak Prescott and on the other side of the ball Jordyn Brooks did his part, but it was too little, too late in a silver medal bridesmaid run.
