The Championship bracket features three former champions including the #1 Hill Valley McFlys, who are two for four in Larkspur Bowls (victors in VIII & X, losers in IV & V), the #3 New York's Finest (Champs in VI, runner-up in LBI) and #5 South Park (Champs in VII). Meanwhile, the #2 seeded Pawnee Pride have lost in the big game twice (VII & X), while HCM City lost in LBIX. The Ohio Tommy Boys end up playoff participants in their inaugural season, and will try to duplicate the LBIV's champion Revis Islanders rookie results, by winning it all after a 7-6 season.
In the loser's bracket, Phoenix finds itself with a bye in week 14 for the eighth time in the past ten years- however, every other time it was in the other bracket. Along with the Jersey Crew they defeated in week 13, they'll wait to play for a top four draft slot in weeks 15 and 16. Meanwhile, we'll see Carmel, Binghamton, Savannah, and Mar-A-Lago try to salvage their lost seasons. Deputy goes into cold storage until next year, while South Philly will have to sweat out the B-Division results over the course of the next month.
