DEPUTY ACQUIRES:
- WR Kenny Britt
PHOENIX ACQUIRES:
- RB Jay Ajayi
Kenny Britt has never been a consistent player, and yet, through four week he has shown remarkable consistency getting at least four to six catches each turn, and between 38 and 94 yards. He has not sniffed the end zone yet, but at 6'3" he's got the physicality to be utilized there, making him an intriguing option on a week to week basis. Phoenix simply had too many WRs and not enough space to utilize them, as they wait (in vain?) for Josh Gordon to put his life together; With the Van Halens, Britt will have immediate playing time consideration.
RB Jay Ajayi was drafted by the Uprising, but was cut twice before migrating through Indiana: first to Pawnee, then to Deputy. Now he's back with the Uprising, with scuttlebutt indicating that he might have an opportunity at a bellcow role. Phoenix couldn't find room for Terrance West last week before his breakout performance for the Pride- they're hoping to get out ahead of Ajayi's value now.
