All Times Eastern Standard

For the first seven and a half years of Larkspur Bowl play, free agent players entered waiver protocol at 1:00pm on Sunday every week; The hard deadline was designed to allow managers to 'set and forget' their lineups, minimizing maintenance in the interest of convenience.

Starting this Thursday 10/20, Players will enter waiver protocol when THEIR game is scheduled to kick off. There are typically games on Thursday Night, Sunday around 1:00pm, 4:00pm, and 8:30pm, and Monday at 8:30pm. There are also occasionally London Games that start at 9:30am Sunday, and later in the season there may be Saturday games as well; Weather and other factors have previously caused games to be moved entirely. It up to each team manager to be cognizant of when their players play, and thus, their roster position locks.

Players on bye will enter waivers when the week's final game (Monday Night Football) begins.

This change is being made to better utilize the improved functionality of our Injured Reserve slot, which allows a player that is ruled out at game time to be placed in the expanded slot, and give teams a better opportunity to deal with their injuries. Players that are listed as QUESTIONABLE have a 50% chance of being listed as 'out,' whereas players designated as DOUBTFUL have a 75% chance of being listed as 'out.' Prepare accordingly!

Game time decisions are made an hour before kickoff, and filed here:

Y! typically updates a player's status at least thirty minutes before game time.

As such, it is in the best interest of your team to set a reminder to check in on your players' status before their game begins, and make any last minute transaction necessary to field the most competitive team available to you on a weekly basis. Please familiarize yourself with the rule change, and if you have any questions, feel free to request clarity from the Commissioner!
