Trade 2: The Bench Edge Wiggle

After a series of deliberations that started as a blockbuster and ended as something significantly smaller, Savannah and Phoenix finished a deal to exchange skill position depth players.

SAVANNAH ACQUIRES WR SAMMY WATKINS
PHOENIX ACQUIRES RB KENYAN DRAKE

Sammy Watkins has never lived up to the hype that comes with being the fourth overall pick, but he has shown flashes of the playmaking ability that gives him such a high ceiling. A litany of ailments has dogged him, but every year he's been able to deliver some monstrous games only to go quiet other weeks when he was ostensibly healthy. Now on his fourth franchise potential remains for him to be a more consistent threat as the season goes on, and a Petes team desperate for productive wideouts see a viable starter that can average double digit production over the course of the season.

Kenyan Drake came into the league with considerably less ballyhoo, but has carved out a career as a durable slasher, more in a supplementary role than as a bellcow. Joining a new offense this year, he has nearly as many receptions as rushes, but has double digit touches in both games so far. With 18th round pick Watkins buried on the bench, Phoenix gets Savannah's 14th rounder to help supplement a RB corps that has limited upside.
