Trade 1: The Meat Grinder

Phoenix drafted JK Dobbins in the second round shortly before he tore his ACL. South Park drafted Gus Edwards in the 12th round and stood to benefit from the Dobbins injury, until Edwards was felled by the same injury. Carmel picked up Ty'Son Williams after the draft concluded and then swapped him for the Uprising's 11th round pick.

CARMEL ACQUIRES: WR DeVANTE PARKER
PHOENIX ACQUIRES: RB TY'SON WILLIAMS

How this deal shakes out will mostly depend upon Williams; DeVante Parker is a credible WR3 that has shown flashes of upside to slot in a couple of tiers higher than that. Health and opportunities are both question marks, but the Rudy-Toos have added a viable piece to their offense.

The Uprising will have to see how this shakes out- Monday night will be Williams debut. After a flurry of transactions, RB Latavius Murray appears poised to take a potential bellcow role away from him, and other marquee names wait in the wings: Le'veon Bell and Devonta Freeman are both on the roster look for one more chance to show their legs still have lightning in them.
