TRADE 15: Everyone Has Needs

Pawnee and Phoenix link up again, exchanging players each team had recently acquired to address their more immediate positional needs.

PHOENIX ACQUIRES: QB DEREK CARR
PAWNEE ACQUIRES: WR TERRELLE PRYOR

With Deshaun Watson's untimely exit from his debut season, the Uprising's quarterback slot was left uncertain. A waiver claim of veteran Philip Rivers was step one, but his week nine bye left an immediate void. Derek Carr started the season with Manitoba but was ultimately replaced by Carson Wentz; Now he rejoins former teammate Amari Cooper in Phoenix. The Uprising will hope ACϟDC's reconnection has an immediate impact; Both players take their bye in week ten.

Terrelle Pryor was the second round pick of the Savannah Petes, but has been a black hole in five of seven starts this year, a total goose-egg in his last game. Fighting for playing time, the WR who amassed over 1,000 yards last year will get his third opportunity to play in Pawnee, who have been receiver deficient all year. There's still plenty of upside in the big bodied wideout's game as long as he sees snaps: This was a player drafted 25th overall just nine weeks ago. If it works out, the Pride will look ingenious; If not, they dealt from a position of strength, as Drew Brees remains the starter.
