After the waiver claim period, will we see another flurry of trades and transactions? With bye weeks upon us and injuries taking an ugly toll, the presumptive answer would have to be OH HELL YEAH!
SCOREBOARD:
Week 4 Matchups
- LTP 233: The league's original Canadian squad played angry, with DeAndre Hopkins, Leonard Fournette, and HaSean Clinton-Dix scored the win while giving HCM their first loss.
- DVH 219: Train keeps rolling for Deputy, who have scored more with each of their four successive wins; This week featured Zeke Elliot and a stout defensive performance.
- PHX 214: The Uprising's losing streak ends in LVIII's revenge game, where Khalil Mack, Ryan Shazier, and Bilal Powell made the outcome apparent early.
- PAW 210: A solid win and a 3-1 record mask a team that has suffered a ton of early injuries; However the Pride have turned into a plug and play powerhouse and should manage just fine.
- MAL 198: Scoring in the top five and losing happens, but it is never an easy pill to swallow. The Grabbers' standout defense and secret superstar Charles Clay were outstanding in defeat.
- NYF 195: Undefeated is the headline, that their opponents have breached 156 once in four games is the footnote. Four wins in the bank and Gurley looks like a top two RB in 2017.
- SAV 193: The Petes have rebounded to reel off three straight decisive victories, and with a deep stable of RBs and room for rookies Mixon & McCaffrey to grow, this could be the year.
- HCM 189: Led stumbles, but the squad remains the same: SOUND. Their collection of home run threats all went cold at a bad time and the D couldn't make a big play. They'll be okay!
- HVM 186: Champs won this matchup when it counted most, but lackluster RB play and an outclassed DL were their undoing this time around. Can they swing a trade this week?
- SPC 179: The team's best effort on the season scored them their first win, but it was hardly a breakout performance, and they lost their best runner (Dalvin Cook) for the season.
- BIN 174: Injuries have put a ceiling on this team early, and they've dug a bit of a hole for themselves. But with a deep bench and elite IDPs on the mend, better days are ahead.
- OAK 163: Superlative play from bench players make this one sting, but the optimal lineup still would have lost. Two game swoon takes some air from the sails but not time to abandon ship.
- RUM 135: Travis Kelce and newly acquired Tevin Coleman were the only two offensive players that did not embarrass themselves. The D is a work in progress.
- MMC 131: The offense is in shambles and there are no obvious solutions. Derek Carr's back is broke and the bench is mostly full of JAGs. Defense keeps team from being a bad, bad joke.
