With just two weeks left in the regular season, the playoff picture is shaping up: Despite their best effort, Deputy joins Philadelphia, Carmel, and Savannah among the eliminated, leaving ten teams with mathematical bids at the six berths; The path is thin for 5-6 South Park, Ohio, and Pawnee... but winning out gives them a shot. The Cows have a substantially more robust playoff chance (despite no margin of error) as defeating Binghamton and Carmel in the closing weeks, with the point totals they have projects to a healthy chance at a playoff berth.
Half the league has managed winning records to date, though we have seen churn at the top as New Jersey and HCM City (at 8-3) have supplanted previous bye holders Manitoba and Hill Valley (at 7-4) with time running out. More than anyone else it is the Sanitation Crew with the keys to the top seed: if they can knock off the McFlys this week they clinch a bye, and defeating the Lead Farmers the next week would secure the best record in football. The Moose Crew and McFlys can clinch by winning either of their final two matchups, and have a credible shot at the playoffs if they flop in both, although neither have the points to feel comfortable in tiebreak scenarios.
Mar-A-Lago and Phoenix both saw their win streaks decisively severed in week eleven; Their playoff bids remain intact, but only if they rebound from their setbacks. Binghamton has hung around this long, but likely needs a pair of wins to edge in, as despite their outburst this week, their total points remain meager.
We do have one result still up in the air- The Rum Ham dropping the McFlys by just .31 pending stat adjustments; A reversal would mean minimal shuffling of the standings, but the McFlys would strengthen their bid for a round one bye and simultaneously lock in a playoff berth.
RESULTS
Week 11 Matchups
POWER OUTPUT
- SPC 266: The Cows burst forth and show their true colors as one of the best teams in the league, but any more slip ups will mean certain doom. Looked surefooted this week though.
- HCM 250: The Lead Farmers have a trap game against Philly this week, but have 'bounced back' after a pair of underwhelming 180 point victories.
- JSC 248: The top seed has posted scores of 193+ in ten of eleven games and cannot take their foot of the pedal if they want to ensure a bye week.
- BIN 226: The Snipers have stepped it up a notch in the back half of the season, with their defense mopping up and delivering victory after victory.
- MMC 216: The Moose finally end their losing streak just in the nick of time- they have a pair of matchups with playoff hopefuls to close the season.
- DVH 191: Their 3-1 start a fond memory, the Van Halens collapse has been a dreadful one and they're in danger of missing even the consolation bracket.
- CRT 185: A season to be proud of, not for the scattered wins, but for the wherewithal to continue competing into November despite their bad hand.
- PHX 178: Their five game win streak ends with decimation, and the offensive weapons are hardly inspiring- but they control their own destiny still.
- PAW 169: If Pawnee misses the playoffs, they'll be the third defending champ to do so in League History (SPC in '16 and HVM in '17). Yikes!
- MAL 160: A blemish on their record, but the Grabbers are still in a good spot to control their fate and return to the playoffs after an eight year layoff.
- PRH 158: Inching out a second victory in a row and playing spoiler to another league mainstay could be a bright spot in another dark season... if it holds.
- HVM 158: This pitiful showing might be bottom for the McFlys- or pending reversal, signal an upswing. Either way they have to figure out QB to regain their top contender status.
- SAV 155: Savannah's tumble has been one of tired mediocrity, with the team rising up over 183 points only once. CMC's injury was a blow, but the team's inability to restock facilitated the drop.
- OTB 153: The Tommy Boys have made the fewest moves in the league at 23, five fewer than Savannah. Now Adam Thielen might have COVID coming out of the highlight reels. GREAT!

UPCMING MATCHUPS
Jersey and Hill Valley square off with a playoff bye potentially on the line; Manitoba and Mar-A-Lago also jostle for position, with the loser slipping too close to the edge of the playoff picture. South Park and Binghamton are both battling for their playoff lives- a must win for both teams, considering their circumstances. Ohio takes on Phoenix with a lot on the line, while Pawnee battles Deputy for the Indian crown with their miniscule chances at a title defense also hanging in the balance.
