The Reversal

Week eleven saw controversy as the final ruling on the field was reversed, giving Saskatoon a narrow victory over the Islanders. A Nigel Bradham pass defense was taken off the board, reducing ISL's 189.04 points to 186.04. The Sasquatch score of 187.18 held up to review, giving them a slim margin of victory- just enough to staunch Saskatoon's seven game skid, and restore their playoff chances.

Accordingly, the standings have become more congested, with ten teams still in the race for the final four playoff spots. The Islanders fall from fifth to sixth (retaining control over their destiny, but only just) while Saskatoon moves up from tenth to eighth, and within striking distance of a point tiebreak that could come into play at 7-6. Only Pawnee and Manitoba have their slots assured heading into week twelve.
