At current the only change to the Larkspur Bowl for the coming season is moving from three IR slots down to two. If a game is postponed (due to the pandemic or otherwise) players *WILL* be IR eligible, as designated by Y!.
With the NFL expanding to an 18 week, 17 game schedule my preference will be maintaining a 13 game regular season and a six team playoff, with week 14 featuring #3 vs #6 and #4 vs #5, then in week 15 the #1 seed playing the lowest remaining seed and the #2 seed playing the highest remaining seed. If I have my druthers, the Larkspur Bowl will be extended to a two week event, played over Week 16 & Week 17. At current Y! does not seem to be offering that option.
If that does not become available we will either:
- Maintain the current format (the most likely outcome)
- Add two teams, break into two divisions, play a 14 game schedule
- Add two teams and play a 15 game schedule
This year's draft order will follow the same established pattern, with teams selecting their draft slot based on their LBXII placement: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 5, 6, 3, 4, 2, and 1.
